Making Businesses Better
I am passionate about planning, processes, and projects. I have experienced how, when done well, these three things can transform any business.
I believe that if you have a plan for your business and robust processes in place, your business will succeed.
Planning is important so that you know where you want your organization to grow, and what steps are required to get there. And, as the clichéd saying goes: Failure to plan is a plan to fail.
The processes that you have, whether you purposefully implemented them, or if they evolved naturally, are the way you bring about the plan. This is why it is important to actively map and know your processes.
With a plan and good processes, you should, based on Pareto Principle, have managed 80% of your business. The other 20% are the exceptions. Many of these can be resolved through projects, to resolve problems.
Your Supply Chain Advisor
My services help you streamline your processes and have you working at your best. They are customised to your needs, easy to implement, practical and sustainable with measurable results and tangible outputs.
My approach is to start with a top-down policy implementation, where your vision is translated from the top into an efficient strategy. The strategy is rendered into effective policies, which drive workable procedures. Those procedures are, where appropriate, translated into work instructions.
This is supported by bottom-up best practice performance measures. These key indicators roll up from daily and weekly operational metrics, to monthly tactical measures and finally to strategic goals, by ensuring that the correct behaviours are encouraged to improve execution.
